I studies EAI about Current Information System maybe composed of

1.  Application that were develop in different period
2.  Application that were develop in different developer
3.  Application that were develop without real condition other departement
4.  Application that were develop using different technology 

this is formula for know how many interfaces to intergared one application to other application

 i = n ( n - 1) /2

 i = interface

 n = device
